Well, Hippie's Memorial Run went off pretty good, somewhere around 40 bikes showed up and a few 4 wheelers loaded with people. It started off hot and sunny but ended up raining like hell near the end of the run. In a way the rain was nice because it cooled us off. All and all everybody had a pretty good time.

Most of us started off at Mike's Pub in Homosassa Springs and rode down to the Horse & Crown where a few more riders joined us.
From the Horse & Crown we headed to Sleepy Hollow where a few more riders joined in. At every stop a candle was lit and we toasted to Hippie.
Sleepy Hollow is nestled among the big oak trees that offer a lot of shade to cool off and just BS with your friends.
From Sleepy Hollow we headed to Casey's Pub in Inverness on south 41.
We had to wait a short time at Casey's for a rain storm to pass before heading to Lecanto and the Sandhill Saloon.
A storm passed through while we were inside and then as we were getting on our bikes another one hit and we could see this one was bigger and would last a while, so we headed out to Mike's anyway where Mike's wife, Sammy, was cooking hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings for us. By now we were kind of hungry so that is one reason we didn't let the rain stop us.
We arrived at Mike's Pub soaked to the bone but we didn't care, we just wanted to have a good time and we did.
